Hello, Beautiful People!

I want to thank you for joining me here in my fun little world. This, in some form or another, has been a dream of mine for quite a while now. I love to create things, and frequently have a dozen or so plans floating around in my head. My current day job is the closest I’ve been to anything in my dreams, but not quite there. Someday, I’ll be there, and this is a step in the right direction. As I get things more figured out, everything will become more polished. In the meantime, I will make mistakes, and we will all laugh about this later. I look forward to sharing that joy with you!

I am a teacher. Not in a school, but it is what my spirit does. I have taught in academic settings, but they are too constricting for all the fun there is in learning. I love going down rabbit holes to find new skills, and maybe you do, too! Currently, I teach people who have purchased a new sewing machine how to use it, how to use the different feet and accessories it has available, and some surprising techniques those accessories can achieve in projects. In my personal time, I like to play with fabrics and threads. I sometimes make my playing into actual useful items. This leg of my journey is to help others play, and maybe turn more of my play into things I, or you, can use.
